How to choose saw blades

Start with your saw's blade diameter and arbor (center hole) size, then choose the bond. Sintered blades carry diamond throughout the rim and last a long time, while electroplated blades cut fast but the diamond layer wears away. Thinner rims waste less material; sturdier rims suit heavy cutting.

Blades are meant to run wet, so keep the coolant topped up and feed the rock gently to avoid glazing the rim.
